Advisory Council

All businesses encounter complex and highly specialized needs. Some situations occur occasionally (re-capitalizing or selling the business). Others occur more frequently (finding a top candidate to fillexecutive position). Today, you need ready access to a wide variety of seasoned professionals and experts to help you with these challenges. That's why CEB established the Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council includes top-level, experienced professionals in a variety of fields who work with senior company executives. Advisory Council professionals ("Directors") represent many disciplines including: law, accounting, personal finance, insurance, banking, advertising, information technology, and more.

The Advisory Council includes experts from some of the largest and most respected firms in the region including: Smith Barney/Citigroup, Virginia Commerce Bank, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice (corporate law firm), The McLean Group (investment banking firm), and many others. Together the Directors' firms have experience in serving more than 300 top business clients.

Advisory Council Directors serve two functions for CEB: (a) they recommend business leaders for membership in the CEB, and (b) they provide a range of expertise for you to draw upon for information and counsel. Advisory Council Directors do not solicit CEB members. But they are available to provide initial counsel on issues of interest or concern to you and, if desired by you, further compensated services.
